One Paragraph Review: Castle Crashers
by Meghan Watt
Never underestimate the side-scroller. Both online and off, this four-player romp is an exciting, humorous twist on the age-old quest to save the princess. Wield various weapons and magic, battle gigantic cats and other savage beasts, traverse colorful landscapes and gather animal aids along the way. Although rather short, this is an XBLA game to play again and again, whether to collect new weapons or just enjoy another time through. From the makers of Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers proves that the genre of yore is still alive and always a great way to hang with friends.
